Quang Ninh Customs supports businesses in digital transformation

Quang Ninh Customs Department has directed local customs branches to work with small and medium-sized enterprises under the provisions of Decree 39/2018/ND-CP dated March 11, 2018, detailing a number of Articles of the Law on Supporting small and medium-sized enterprises in the area.
Customs has discussed the benefits and inevitability of digital transformation in management and production and business activities. The implementation of digital transformation program, consultation and provision of documents related to digital transformation will be free.
As of June 14, 15 enterprises agreed to participate in the program.
According to the comprehensive digital transformation plan of Quang Ninh province to 2025, with avision to 2030, the province will focus on achieving the goal 100% of new administrative procedures will be processed via the online public service at level 4; 100% of the State agencies provide open data and being equipped with technical and safe facilities for digital transformation; at least 50% of enterprises in industrial parks apply digital technology in production and business; 100% of people have a digital identity and every family has a digital address; the digital economy accounts for at least 20% of the province's total product.
In 2022, the province will urgently implement digital transformation in the fields of healthcare, education, industry, tourism, transportation and logistics, for a comprehensive digital transformation. It will implement the authentication of citizens' electronic identities via the national population database system in administrative processes at all levels.
The province strives to complete the development of eight key databases including: land, officials and civil servants, medical, education, planning, tourism, public investment and transport.
From 2024, 100% of records, papers and results of administrative procedures at all three levels will be digitized. By 2025, at least 50% of supervision and inspection activities by the State management agencies will be carried out via the digital environment and information systems of the management authorities.
