Quang Ninh Customs collects more than VND5,245 billion in State revenue

On May 15, Quang Ninh Customs Department handled procedures for 22,361 declarations with a total import-export turnover of US$5.106 billion, increasing by 35% in turnover, and declining by 20% in declarations.
Quang Ninh Customs has focused on promoting administrative reform, customs modernization, simplifying procedures toward paperless customs; develop specific and detailed implementation plans for solutions to improve scores and improve the ranking of component indexes in the DDCI, SIPAS, PAR-Index, which are highly appreciated and evaluated by the business community.
In addition, the unit directed customs branches and enforcement units to coordinate with competent forces to strengthen inspection and tighten management of the entire border, border gate and seaport, avoiding cases of entry and exit without control.
At the same time, strengthen the work of anti-smuggling, customs inspection and supervision, and capturing information to control cases of people returning or having close contact with cases from pandemic-affected areas.
Strictly implementing the plan and process of clearance for goods and means of transport through border gates and cargo clearance points; closely monitoring import-export activities, not to allow objects to take advantage of illegal transportation of goods through the border gate; strengthen measures to control, inspect and closely monitor dossiers and origin of imported goods.
