Quang Ninh Customs actively supports release of goods waiting for export

The customs branches shall seriously follow Plan 07 dated January 10, 2022 of the People's Committee of Quang Ninh Province on supporting the release of goods waiting for export; ensure security, order and protect the environment at border gates and border-crossings in Quang Ninh province; and directives of the department.
In particular, the branches shall proactively support and guide individuals and businesses that need to transport their goods to other border gates for export, transfer goods for domestic consumption or transfer goods to be stored at bonded warehouses, cold storage, gathering places, inspection and supervision sites; and carry out extension procedures for goods in transit.
The branches shall coordinate with authorities at the border gate and local authorities to arrange, regulate, channelize and manage incoming or outcoming goods at the border gate; to give priority to export products such as fresh fruits, cold-preserved and frozen goods, and goods for the Chinese market during the Tet holiday; imported items such as electronic components, machines, equipment, raw materials for large domestic projects.
Moreover, the branches shall actively collect information on the situation of import and export, key items and subjects to strengthen the state management of customs and prevent the abusing of incentive policies and the complicated pandemic for illicit trade of goods across borders.

As of January 13, over 1,400 trucks were stuck at the border gates: Mong Cai, Hoanh Mo and Bac Phong Sinh.
