The total number of vehicles increased 208% from a year earlier. Of the figure, vehicles exiting reached 1,590 and those entering reached 1,089.
As many as 223 enterprises have carried out procedures at border gate customs branches under An Giang Customs Department in July. Notably, over 170 firms have gone through procedures in these branches.
Exported products included fishery products, fertilizers, rice, instant noodles, iron, general goods, clothes, cement, ceramics, machinery and equipment.
Imported products were mainly wood, sewing materials and fruit.
The total import and export turnover hit US$124.10 million. The accumulative turnover was VND987.73 million, a year-on-year increase of 55%
An Giang Customs Department has processed procedures for 34.6 million tons of goods in transit.
As of July, the department collected VND175 billion, achieving 95% of the target and 89% of the desired target in 2021, and rising by 89% from a year ago.
