VCN - On June 21, the Drug Enforcement Team (Hanoi Customs Department) said that the unit has just worked with the Express Delivery Customs Branch (Hanoi Customs Department) and the Drug-related crime Investigation Police Department (PC04) Hanoi City police to seize methamphetamine transported by express delivery from the US to Vietnam

Previously, on June 7, in Long Bien district, Hanoi, competent authorities caught Dang Minh H. (residing in Lac Vien, Ngo Quyen, Hai Phong) with suspicious signs of carrying banned substances.

Inspecting the parcel of express delivery that Dang Minh H. had just received, the authorities discovered two bags covered with plastic containing 1,779 grams of white crystals.

The examination showed that the white crystals inside the two plastic bags were methamphetamine.

The case is further investigated.
