VCN – Quang Tri Customs Department has busted a case and arrested two suspects transporting 2 kg of methamphetamine, the leader of the Customs Enforcement Team under Quang Tri Customs Department said on December 12.

Quang Tri Customs seizes 2 kg of methamphetamine

The suspects and drugs at the scene.

According to the report from Quang Tri Customs Department, the Customs Enforcement Team coordinated with the local Police to arrest Dao Xuan Tung, 45, and Phan Thi Thu, 20, for transporting 2 kg of methamphetamine at 9:20 pm on December 11, in Cua Viet town, Gio Linh district, Quang Tri province.

Currently, the case is under investigation.

From January 1 of the year, the Team has handled 11 cases with 21 suspects, seized 179,496 tablets of synthetic drugs and 3 kg of methamphetamine.
