Attending the ceremony were comrade Tran The Dung, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee and representatives of leaders of departments, branches, and all leaders and officials of the Ha Tinh Customs Department.

On January 17, 2024, Director General of the General Department of Customs Nguyen Van Can signed Decision No. 79/QD-TCHQ on appointing civil servants to hold leadership positions. Accordingly, the Director General of the General Department of Customs decided to appoint Mr. Le Minh Duc, Director of Cau Treo International Border Gate Customs Branch, for a term, to the position of Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Customs Department.

At the ceremony, Director of Ha Tinh Customs Department Bui Thanh San handed over the appointment decision and gave flowers to congratulate the new Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Customs Department.

Congratulating and assigning tasks, Director Bui Thanh San said that, receiving a new task at the beginning of the year, there is a lot of work, comrade Le Minh Duc must immediately start work and coordinate with the leadership of Ha Tinh Customs Department to continues to perform well tasks in 2024. In particular, comrade Le Minh Duc and the leadership of Ha Tinh Customs Department need to focus on closely following key tasks of the industry in the 2021-2025 period. In particular, in 2024, the entire industry focuses on modernization and implementing digital Customs and smart Customs model, therefore, the new Deputy Director needs to proactively follow the orientation and work together with leaders of the Department to direct units to implement effectively.

Director Bui Thanh San expects that, with attention and timely appointment of leaders, in 2024 and years ahead, Ha Tinh Customs Department will successfully complete its tasks and achieve many high achievements.

Accepting the guidance of the Department's leader, new Deputy Director Le Minh Duc sent his thanks to the leaders of the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Customs for trusting and appointing him to the position of Deputy Director of Ha Tinh Customs Department.

In the action plan in his new position, new Deputy Director Le Minh Duc promises to always try his best, be dedicated, and quickly grasp new jobs and tasks; inherits the achievements and valuable experiences of previous leaders; together with the Party Committee, leaders of Ha Tinh Customs Department, unite and focus on leading and managing all activities of the unit, building an increasingly strong unit, contributing to general development of the Customs industry, promoting economic and social development of Ha Tinh province.

At the same time, focusing on building and implementing good coordination relationships with authorities inside and outside the industry; actively advising and organizing the implementation of state management tasks on customs in Ha Tinh province; continuing to carry out customs reform and modernization according to the set programs and plans; work with the entire industry to aim to build digital Customs and smart Customs model.
