Lao Cai Customs speeds up process for building smart customs

Lao Cai Customs Department has sets targets of completing the process to support customs officers in carrying out customs procedures, inspection, supervision, ensuring smooth connection and operation.

The department has developed operational processes to serve as a basis for implementing customs procedures based on technology in line with international standards, and requirements on customs management.

The General Department of Vietnam Customs has assigned Lao Cai Customs Department to build two processes, including management and supervision for import goods, means of transport on entry by railway; management and supervision for exported goods and means of transport on exit by railway.
