Lang Son promotes border gate management and development

According to the leaders of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, the province is currently focusing on improving the quality of planning and planning management, especially implementing logistics service center planning; focusing on mobilizing investment resources, building infrastructure projects and developing production and business in border gate areas.

Mr. Ho Tien Thieu, Chairman of Lang Son Provincial People's Committee, said that recently, Lang Son Provincial People's Committee carried out planning work at Tan Thanh and Coc Nam border gates following the province's general planning. They are also implementing the procedures to open the Tan Thanh - Po Chai market pair at landmark 1090-1091 and the Coc Nam - Lung Nghiu opening road at landmark 1104-1105 to become clearance routes which belong to the Huu Nghi (Vietnam) – Huu Nghi Quan (China) international border gate pair.

In addition, Lang Son province is focusing on implementing planning for 3 dry port locations and planning to develop a logistics center system located in the Cargo Transit Zone.

Mr. Ho Tien Thieu added that to develop Huu Nghi International Border Gate to become a model border gate by 2025, Tan Thanh Border Gate will play the role of an agricultural trade center and an economic and commercial zone, important services and tourism of the province, Lang Son province has been and is continuing to implement tasks synchronously.

Accordingly, focusing on improving the quality of planning and planning management, especially logistics service center planning; focusing on mobilizing investment resources, building infrastructure projects and developing production and business in border gate areas; continuing to build a Digital Border Gate Platform for comprehensive management of import and export activities; promote the development of all types of trade, tourism, and services through promoting the development of e-commerce, free trade, duty-free shops...

In addition, to implement the "Framework Agreement on jointly promoting the pilot construction of Smart Border Gates" with Guangxi (China), Lang Son province is focusing on promoting the construction of a pilot project to build Smart Border Gates in specialized routes for transporting goods at Huu Nghi international border gate and Tan Thanh border gate.
