Lang Son launches pilot project on imports of medicinal materials across Chi Ma Border Gate

According to plan, the local government requires competent authorities to disseminate information and attract importers and exporters to take part in the pilot project. The authorities are also requested to introduce potentials and strengths, and expedite trade promotion for the import and export of medicinal materials across the bilateral border gate Chi Ma-Ai Dian.
In addition, the local government also requested competent forces to strengthen the management and supervision on the import of medicinal materials; upgrade the technical infrastructure system at the border gate area, speed up reform of administrative procedures in inspection and control for imports, exports, people, means of transport on exit and entry across the border gate.
The authorities must regularly inspect, review and install equipment, ensuring good management, inspection and supervision of medicinal material imports.
The People's Committee of Lang Son province has made specific plans to strengthen coordination and the fight against smuggling, illegal transportation and trafficking of fake and low quality goods.
Competent forces at the border gate are required to comply with requirements on Covid-19 control and prevention for medicinal material imports.
The plan will be implemented for two years from October 1, 2021 to October 1, 2023.
