In the near future, Khanh Hoa Customs Department will continue to coordinate well with units inside and outside the sector to facilitate import and export activities, strive to effectively implement the reform plan, develop modernization and transformation plan, contributing to completing the task of local socio-economic development.

Actively preventing revenue loss

Not only effectively implementing administrative reform, Khanh Hoa Customs has also focused on anti-smuggling and revenue loss to create a fair business environment.

According to Mr. Le Hong Son, Director of Cam Ranh International Airport Customs Branch, the number of flights is gradually resuming because the pandemic has been controlled, so the number of passengers will increase in the near future. Currently, on average every day, the unit checks in for about 34 international flights of 35 airlines.

The increase in the number of flights will pose a potential risk of smuggling and trade fraud. For effective prevention, Cam Ranh International Airport Customs Branch has strengthened inspection and strict control of luggage of passengers on entry and exit.
