Import-export turnover through Quang Ninh Customs increases 29%

The number of declarations decreased by 9% and import turnover increased by 29% over the same period last year.
In the first quarter, 714 enterprises carried out customs procedures through Quang Ninh Customs including 222 enterprises located in Quang Ninh and 492 enterprises outside the province.
Also in the first quarter, Quang Ninh Customs Department deployed a series of key plans such as a plan on supporting, accompanying and attracting enterprises operating import-export activities in 2022; business dialogues; customs-business consultation and related parties in 2022.
The unit also worked closely with enterprises operating bonded warehouses, ports, inspection places for imported and exported goods to continue implementing the VASSCM system to monitor and operate the system.
Until now, the unit also launched the VASSCM system at two seaports (CICT port and Quang Ninh port), 23 bonded warehouses and one inspection place for exported goods.
