HCMC Customs to accept e-import permit of publications

HCMC Customs Department will pilot the receipt of e-import permits of non-commercial publications. |
The pilot project is performed by HCMC Customs Department according to the proposal by the HCMC Department of Information and Communications.
To facilitate organizations and citizens in the city in administrative procedures amid the Covid-19 pandemic and follow Resolution No. 17/NQ-CP dated March 7, 2013, of the Government, HCMC Department of Information and Communications will process administrative procedures via the online public service system, including handling and returning results of the issuance of e-import permits of non-commercial publications instead of paper permits.
As per the proposal from HCMC Department of Information and Communications, HCMC Customs Department will pilot this work at Express Cargo Customs Procedures Branch, 1ST Zone Sai Gon Seaport Customs Branch and Tan Son Nhat International Airport Customs Branch.
Currently, HCMC Customs Department reported to the General Department of Vietnam Customs to approve the pilot performance of receiving import permits of non-commercial publications via the online public service system of the HCMC Department of Information and Communications.
