HCM City Customs earns VND110,000 billion in revenue

After many months of sharp decreases in revenue due to the Covid-19 pandemic, from October 2021, the department’s revenue rose due to the growth of import and export goods, helping the department achieve the assigned targets.
From now until the end of 2021, the whole municipal customs department is making efforts to facilitate customs clearance and achieve the highest revenue target.
Among 12 customs branches, the revenue collected by 1st Zone Saigon port Customs Branch of VND45,000 billion (adjusted in December 2021), accounting for nearly 40% of the total revenue. The revenue of the Investment/Processing Customs Branch, Hiep Phuoc Seaport Customs Branch and 3rd Zone Saigon Seaport Customs Branch accounted over 21%, 15% and 11%, respectively of the total revenue.
