In order to strengthen inspection, supervision, prevention and control of violation, Ha Noi Customs Department has issued a plan on origin determination, prevention of origin fraud, labeling of goods, infringement of intellectual property rights, illicit transshipment.

Accordingly, the inspection and control will focus on enterprises exporting to large markets (the US, the EU, India …) with the surge in turnover.

Enterprises have high export frequency, short export time among shipments and are not consistent with the process and production time of products, and production capacity; newly established enterprises with abnormal increase in import and export turnover.

Enterprises open transit declarations to export goods to markets that the import tax differences between the exporting country and Vietnam to illegally transship and import tax fraud.

The inspection will focus on imported products that are imported to Vietnam only for simple processing, assembly and processing for export; imported goods using high technology in Vietnam have not yet met production conditions; goods counterfeiting well-known trademarks; goods imported from countries that are not allowed by large market countries such as the United States and Europe to enjoy preferential tariffs, impose high import taxes, and anti-dumping duties.

The exported items will be inspected such as wood products and wooden products, especially, plywood from hardwood materials, wooden cabinets, sofas with wooden frames; equipment group: sports equipment, interior equipment; group of steel products: steel joints, steel wheels, pre-engineered steel, copper pipes; group of electronic products: electrical circuits; data processing machine; electronic products and components; groups of bicycles, electric bicycles and components; solar battery; foam padding; artificial stone; ceramic tiles; truck and passenger car tires; bags and plastic bags; group of machines and equipment: machinery, equipment, tools, spare parts; vacuum cleaner; lawn mower; cartoning pins; gas cylinder shell; footwear and bags.

In addition, the units will base on the actual situation to supplement subjects and groups of products with high risk of origin fraud, illegal labeling of goods, infringing intellectual property rights and illicit transshipment.
