In addition, the city’s department conducted 28 post-clearance audits at the department’s office and detected 23 violations.
The department conducted 29 post-clearance audits at the headquarters of the customs branch and detected 18 violations.
Hanoi Customs Department earns VND32.88 billion from the post-clearance audit.
According to the department, the post clearance audit focuses on high-risk area such as goods imported and exported via express delivery service, land border gate, mineral export, temporary import for re-export, bonded warehouse, and changing the use purpose of machinery and equipment.
The department regularly reviews and collects information on the performance of post clearance audit at the headquarters of the customs branches and evaluates violations (if any) to promptly adjust the customs clearance process.
Through the post-clearance audit, the department also introduces advantages in implementing customs processes in the area, and instructs businesses about new policies and legal documents related to import and export activities, thereby creating favorable conditions for businesses in the customs process at the department.
