Hai Phong Customs processes 370.000 declarations in two months

Accordingly, the Department processed 77,979 import declarations and 68,936 export declarations.
Among nine branches under Hai Phong Customs Department, the export processing zone and industrial park customs branch has the largest number of declarations with 39,877 papers.
Meanwhile, Hai Phong Port Area 1 Customs Branch, had the least number of declarations with 3,430 declarations.
In February 2024, at Hai Phong Customs Department, there were 65.9% green channel declarations; 31.5% of yellow channel declarations, and 2.6% of red channel declarations.
However, the rate of yellow and red channel declarations is still high which occurred in the group of seaport border gate customs branches (Hai Phong port area 1 customs branch, Hai Phong area 2 port customs branch, Hai Phong port area 3 customs branch and Dinh Vu Port Customs Branch). Specifically, there are 79.7% of declarations classified as yellow channel, and red channel (of which the red channel is 7%) and the green channel is 20.3%.
Previously, in January 2024, Hai Phong Customs Department carried out import and export procedures for 225,167 declarations.
Thus, in the first two months of 2024, the total number of declarations processed at Hai Phong Customs is 372,082 declarations.
By the end of February, the total import-export turnover processed at Hai Phong Customs reached US$418.68 billion.
