Hai Phong Customs collects VND 73,310 billion

In 2022, Hai Phong Customs Department is assigned a target of state revenue collection of VND 63,630 billion, of which Hai Phong area is assigned a target of VND 55,930 billion.
On the basis of assessing the difficulties and challenges from the world and regional situation and the profound influence of Decision No. 38/2017/QD-TTg dated August 18, 2017, No. 23/2019/QD - TTg dated June 27, 2019 and No. 07/2021/QD-TTg dated March 2, 2021 of the Prime Minister, Circular No. 21/2021/TT-BTC dated December 10, 2021 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, from the first days of the year, the leadership of Hai Phong Customs Department has directed to develop and implement measures to improve the efficiency of revenue collection and fight against loss of state revenue.
In particular, Hai Phong Customs Department is determined to continue promoting administrative reform, customs modernization, bringing the Customs – Business partnership into reality, improving service quality for people and businesses and performing measures to prevent revenue loss, and actively recovering arising debts.
Those are the key solutions to successfully implement the task of state revenue collection.
To December 5, 2022, the whole Department has collected VND73,310 billion, reaching 115% (exceeding VND9,680 billion) compared to the target assigned for the whole year. In particular, Hai Phong area collected VND63,379 billion, reaching 113% (exceeding VND7,449 billion) compared to the assigned target.
Hai Phong Customs Department forecast that in the whole year 2022, the unit would exceed the target assigned by the General Department of Vietnam Customs (VND78,000 billion) and the People's Council of Hai Phong City (VND 68,000 billion).
