Hai Phong Customs collects more than VND6,000 billion in one month

Of which, export turnover reached US$4.17 billion, up 30.2% year-on-year; the taxable turnover earned US$22.01 million, up 89%.

Import turnover reached US$4.46 billion, up 28.3% year-on-year; the taxable turnover earned US$1.778 billion, up 26.5%.

Import turnover of taxable items increased sharply, such as automobiles with US$97.81 million, up 284.1%; auto parts and components with US$71.76 million, up 281.1%; motorbikes with US$0.77 million, up 2.4%; motorcycle spare parts and accessories with US$2.29 million, up 219.9%; gasoline with US$75.73 million, up 100.4%; iron and steel with US$213.27 million, up 12.5%; and cosmetics with US$0.54 million, up 86.4%.

Thanks to the sharp increase in import and export turnover, the budget revenue of Hai Phong Customs Department in June was quite good with VND6,071 billion, while Hai Phong area alone collected VND5,291 billion.

In the first six months of the year, Hai Phong Customs Department collected VND32,974 billion, or 58.9% of the target assigned by the Ministry of Finance (VND56,000 billion), 57% of the target assigned by the General Department of Customs (VND57,900 billion); up 24.4% over the same period in 2020.
