Ha Tinh Customs coordinated to arrest a person hiding drugs in pineapples

On the afternoon of May 22, at Cau Treo international border gate area, Drug and Crime Prevention Division and Cau Treo International Border Gate Border Guard Station (Ha Tinh Border Guard) coordinated with PC04, Cau Treo Customs Branch to inspect cars that had Laos license plates entering Vietnam with many suspicious signs.

Through inspection, the competent forces discovered and arrested Phan Van Hoang (born in 1975, residing in Thach My commune, Loc Ha) with a blue net containing 15 pineapples, inside hiding about 300 grams of heroin.

Initially, Phan Van Hoang admitted that he had bought a pineapple package, cut the stem, cut out the pineapple core, and hid the drugs inside to transport from Laos to Vietnam.

Currently, the Cau Treo Border Guard Station has issued a decision to prosecute the case in accordance with the regulations.
