GDVC rotates 20 division leaders

Deputy Director General Nguyen Duong Thai awarded decisions and congratulated officials who are rotated from the GDVC to local customs departments.

The GDVC rotated 20 deputy heads of divisions and equivalent positions to be arranged to heads of divisions and equivalent positions.

Of which, 10 officials of five departments under the GDVC (the Customs Control and Supervision Department; the Anti-Smuggling and Investigation Department; the Customs Risk Management Department; the Import-Export Duty Department; the Customs Reform and Modernization Board) and 10 officials of seven local departments (Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh city, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Lang Son and Tay Ninh).

At the meeting, Deputy Director General Nguyen Duong Thai stated that following the Party and State guidelines, the GDVC determines one of the important goals of personnel work is to improve capacity andexecutive management of leaders and managers. At the same time, building professional officials to meet task requirements and create a contingent of qualified officials. The GDVC has developed effective programs and plans on the rotation of officials to meet the task requirements in the new situation, especially in the context that the Customs sector has promoted customs administrative reform and modernization.

Deputy Director General Nguyen Duong Thai awarded decisions and congratulated officials who are rotated from local customs departments to the GDVC.

The Deputy Director General requested the officials rotated in this period to continuously study and quickly access the work at the new units, accomplish assigned tasks; promote qualification to effectively fulfill tasks.

For units receiving rotated officials, the Deputy Director General required them to arrange and ensure the working time of officials according to the GDVC’s direction. At the same time, creating conditions forrotated officials to work, develop and complete the assigned tasks.

Deputy Director General Nguyen Duong Thai also shared the difficulties and challenges for officials rotated to the new units, new working environment and expressed encouragement and trust in dignity, political prowess, qualification of 20 rotated officials who will make great efforts to complete the assigned tasks.
