Force to re-export more than 30 tons of “electronics rubbish”

Based on the result, this shipment contains scrap products which have been cut into pieces of sizes larger than 10 cm. It has impurities, including broken wires, electric wire, motors ... that are banned in Decision No. 73/2014 / QD-TTg, Circular 01/2013 / TT-BTNMT and Standard QCVN32: 2010 / BTNMT.
According to the Sai Gon port area 1 Customs Branch, with the inspection results of imported goods that do not meet quality requirements in accordance with regulations, besides being sanctioned, CEM Molding Manufacturing Joint Stock Company is also forced to re-export or destroy the infringing goods.
As known, on 13/3, at Cat Lai Port, Saigon port area 1 Customs Branch cooperated with Board of Online Supervision - General Department of Vietnam Customs, C74- Ministry of Public Security and PC 46- Ho Chi Minh City Police to conduct a physical inspection for 2 containers (30.33 tons) of imported plastic scrap, and found that it contained a lot of used electronic circuits. It is in the list of prohibited imports.
When opening customs declarations for importing these 2 containers, CEM Molding Manufacturing Joint Stock Company declared that it was imported plastic scrap.
