Hai Phong Customs Department said by the end of September, the unit’s revenue rose 21% or VND8,403 billion year-on-year to VND48,505 billion.
Five commodities recording additional revenue of VND100 billion or more included four import commodities and one export commodity, namely wood.
Notably, CBU cars and auto parts and components rose by more than VND1,000 billion in imports.
In which, CBU cars surged 54.2%, or VND3,575 billion, in September, thereby bringing the revenue in the past nine months to VND10,174 billion.
Auto parts and components soared 133.5% or VND1,172 billion, bringing the value from January to September to nearly VND2,050 billion.
By the end of September, imported machinery and equipment contributed the most revenue at Hai Phong Customs with nearly VND10,836 billion, up nearly VND865 billion year-on-year.

Petrol and oil saw a rise of nearly VND707 billion to around VND1,869 billion.
Wood was the only export group that grew 822.2% or VND116 billion to nearly VND130 billion.
