At the ceremony, the representative of the Personnel and Organization Department (GDC) announced the Director General’s Decisions.

Specifically, Decision No. 2089/QD-TCHQ dated July 17, 2019, on appointing Nguyen Tien Loc, Hai Phong Customs Director to be Director of Post Clearance Audit Department (GDC) from July 22, 2019.

Decision No. 2088/QD-TCHQ dated July 16, 2019 on appointing in term Tran Manh Cuong, Manager of Post Clearance Audit Branch (Hai Phong Customs Department) to be Deputy Director of Post Clearance Audit Department from August 1, 2019.

At the ceremony, Deputy Director General Mai Xuan Thanh presented flowers to congratulate Nguyen Tien Loc and Tran Manh Cuong.

Mr. Thanh hoped that Nguyen Tien Loc and Tran Manh Cuong would continue leading and developing a unit that promotes traditional values and successfully completes all assigned tasks.

"In the short term, the comrades must build a post-customs clearance audit system that really deserves the expectations and is commensurate with potential and role of post-clearance inspection in the world Customs house,” said Deputy Director General Mai Xuan Thanh.

Facing the task of changing from pre-inspection to post-inspection, post-customs clearance inspection force face a great task.

Mai Xuan Thanh hoped that Mr. Nguyen Tien Loc and Mr. Tran Manh Cuong together with the leaders of the Post-clearance Inspection Department would continue to lead and direct the unit to successfully complete all assigned tasks.

Listening to the guidance of the leader of the General Department of Customs, Director of the PCA Department Nguyen Tien Loc wished to continue receiving the attention and directions of the GDC’s leaders, the coordination of units and departments under the GDC and the support of officials and civil servants of the PCA Department.

Director Nguyen Tien Loc said that e-customs procedures, risk management and post-clearance inspection are the three pillars of modern customs management.

In the new position, Mr. Nguyen Tien Loc promised to try, together with the leaders, officials and civil servants of the PCA Department to confirm its position and role as the management pillar in the whole Customs sector.

Earlier, on July 17, Director General Nguyen Van Can signed Decision 2091 / QD-TCHQ to assign Mr. Nguyen Duy Ngoc to be acting director of Hai Phong Customs Department from July 22, 2019.
