Deploying operation of Hau Giang Customs Branch

VCN – On 25/10, Can Tho Customs Department held a ceremony to announce a decision for establishing Hau Giang Customs Branch and deploying operation in this Branch.

According to Can Tho Customs Department, Hau Giang Customs Branch has been assigned the task of state management in customs sector at Hau Giang province, implement customs procedures for import and export goods of import and export enterprises in the area of Hau Giang province and proximity zone. Simultaneously, complete procedures for the means of transport on water for exit and entry at the Hau Giang ports, fulfill the task of anti-smuggling and trade frauds in import-export activities, entry, and exit in accordance with the provisions of the Customs Law and related laws.

Regarding human resource, Hau Giang Customs Branch is currently set up with 10 people, including 2 leaders of the Customs Branch and 8 customs officers. When operating professional activities, the Can Tho Customs Department will support more additional personnel to meet the requirements of professional activities.

Speaking at the ceremony, leaders of Can Tho Customs Department requested that, Hau Giang Customs Branch must accompany on the enterprise, well implementing administrative reform, apply information technology in the Customs professional activities, to facilitate to export and import activities of enterprises and people in the locality, to coordinate well with the local administrations and competent forces in performing the tasks.
