Da Nang Customs ranks first in IT applications

The Steering Committee for building e-government, smart cities and digital transformation of Da Nang City has announced the results of evaluating and ranking information technology applications in 2022 of agencies and localities in the city.
According to the results, Da Nang Customs Department ranked 2nd in the group of central agencies located in the city with 94.94 points.
Five central agencies ranked good, and one agency ranked reasonably good in 2022 ( In 2021, three agencies ranked good, and three agencies ranked fairly good).
The assessment and ranking of IT applications is implemented annually by the People's Committee of Da Nang City. The Index for evaluating and ranking information technology applications includes seven main contents: information technology technical infrastructure; IT applications; online public services; information technology human resources; policies and investment in information technology applications; building a digital society (for People's Committees of districts, wards, and communes); Bonus points and minus points.
In 2022 alone, the Steering Committee met and agreed, and the City People's Committee amended and supplemented the 2022 evaluation and ranking index set with higher requirements than 2021 to comply with assigned goals and targets.
Da Nang Customs Department has developed plans and implemented solutions to meet practical requirements and improve the ranking Index. In addition to topping in information technology applications, in 2022, Da Nang Customs Department ranked 2nd in administrative reform with an excellent ranking.
