The branches have guided and urged enterprises to quickly send dossier online and present the dossier for physical inspection and submit the result of specialized inspection and fulfill tax obligations to shorten the time.
The department has also instructed and supported enterprises in customs process to help them comply with regulations before carrying out customs procedures, and reduce the situation that enterprises must make additional declaration, causing prolonging customs clearance time.
In addition, the department has required all officers to make great effort to improve qualification and raise awareness and responsibility to serve businesses and people; update inspection results into the system to shorten the clearance time.
The department has strengthened supervision of discipline by officers in public service performance; strictly and promptly handled violations.
To achieve the goal of reducing customs clearance and release time, it needs close coordination in customs process. Customs officers needs to have qualification and understand policies and procedures related to imports and exports to quickly process procedures.
The Customs units need to collaborate with relevant agencies to comprehensively process procedures and facilitate enterprises in customs clearance and release.
