Customs branches of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Nam Ninh Customs Departments are restructured

 VCN- According to Decision 1462/QD-TCHQ, Decision 1463/QD-TCHQ and Decision1464/QD-TCHQ issued by the General Department of Vietnam Customs on 11th May 2018, stipulating organizational structure of Customs branches, Post-clearance audit branches and Customs Enforcement Teams under Customs departments of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Nam Ninh, many Customs Branches of these departments will no longer have teams.

Specifically, in Decision 1462/QD-TCHQ, the General Department of Vietnam Customs (GDVC) specifies the organizational structure of Customs branches, Post-clearance Audit Branch, Customs Enforcement Team and Anti-drug Enforcement Team under Thanh Hoa Customs Department. Accordingly, only Na Meo International Border Gate Customs Branch has a team level that is the Customs Operational Team of Ten Tan Border Gate.

Thanh Hoa Sea Port Customs Branch, Nghi Son Sea Port Customs Branch and Post Clearance Audit Branch have no sub-team.

Customs Enforcement Team and Anti-drug Enforcement Team of Kien Giang Customs Department have no sub-team.

In Decision 1463/QD-TCHQ, the GDVC has specified the organizational structure of Customs branches, Post Clearance Audit Branch, Customs Enforcement Team and Anti-drug Enforcement Team of Nghe An Customs Department as follows:

Vinh Customs Branch and Nam Can International Border Gate Customs Branch have only 2 teams, including General Affairs Team and Customs Operational Team. The Customs Enforcement Team has 3 teams, including General Affairs Team, Enforcement Team No.1 and Enforcement Team No.2.

Cua Lo Sea Port Customs Branch, Thanh Thuy Sea Port Customs Branch, Post-Clearance Audit Branch and Anti-drug Enforcement Team have no sub-team.

The organizational structure of Customs Branches and Customs Enforcement Team of Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department is specified in the GDVC’s Decision 1464/QD-TCHQ.

Accordingly, only Ninh Binh Customs Branch has 2 teams, including General Affairs Team and Customs Operational Team.

Nam Dinh Customs Branch, Ha Nam Customs Branch and Customs Enforcement Team of Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department also have no sub-team.

In these Decisions, Director General Department of the GDVC Nguyen Van Can, has assigned Directors of Customs Departments of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An and Ha Nam Ninh to stipulate competencies and tasks of Teams under Customs Branches and assign specific tasks to each working position of Customs officers in accordance with the requirements on centralized management and provisions of the law. At the same time, arranging and assigning current Customs staff.

These Decisions take effect since the signing date and abolish former provisions in contrast to these Decisions.

The GDVC implements the arrangement of organizational structure in accordance with Decision 2094/QD-BTC issuing criteria on establishment and restructure of teams under Customs Branches and equivalent units of provincial, inter-provincial and municipal Customs Departments.
