VCN - In the afternoon 8th October, 2016 the Anti – Smuggling Enforcement Unit in the North (team 1), Anti – Smuggling and Investigation Department (General Department of Customs) examined a suspicious consignment imported from France and discovered many types of clocks, paintings and wines without Customs declaration.

Previously, through intelligence, a container which departed from the port of Le Havre (France) to Hai Phong port, had suspicious signs containing infringing goods.
So the Anti – Smuggling Enforcement Unit in the North confirmed container number CMAU0005645 that transferred from Haiphong port to ICD Tien Son (Bac Ninh) according to declarations on transportation 50057473940 dated 5-10-2016 of Maritime Development Company (Vimadeco) .
The shipment had registed Customs declaration registration number 101066908021 dated 5-10-2016 imported at the Tien Son inland port Customs Branch (Bac Ninh Customs Department) by Sao Mai International Trade Ltd.
Through checking, the Anti – Smuggling Enforcement Unit in the North in collaboration with the Tien Son port Customs Branch, Customs Enforcement Team (Bac Ninh Customs Department) stopped Customs procedures and conducted physical inspectation.
Currently, the functional forces are conducting the counting, sorting infringing goods for processing.
