Border Defence force seizes more than 10 tonnes of narcotics in five years

The Border Defence force seized 10.73 tonnes of all kinds of narcotics, 343 guns, 5,274 bullets, 3,401 tonnes of explosives, more than VND 3 billion in cash and 40 yuan in cash (Chinese money). The total value of temporarily seized goods handled was more than VND 1,500 billion.

According to a report at the conference, from 2016 until now, transportation of synthetic drugs from China to Vietnam has decreased, but the transportation of synthetic drugs from abroad into Vietnam to China has increased. The subjects have opened many new transportation routes to deliver drugs from the "Golden Triangle" through Laos and Cambodia into the provinces of Central, Highlands and Southwest.

Resolutely not allow the establishment of hot spots, complex criminals and social evils in the border areas. Strengthening coordination with local and foreign forces to promote synergy in crime prevention.
