About 800,000 doses of vaccines quickly cleared by HCM City Customs

This is the first batch of vaccines imported via express delivery service in HCM City. Of which, one batch of vaccine was imported by the National Institute of Hygiene And Epidemiology. The remaining batch is donated by Pfizer to Vietnam.

The Express Cargo Customs Branch has instructed the importer to carry out procedures and assigned officers to clear quickly the shipments after the flight landed at Tan Son Nhat airport, and support the transportation of goods to the warehouse for timely preservation.

The local department’s leaders requested the customs branch to facilitate customs clearance for consignments of biological products, medical supplies and equipment for the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic; asked each working team and officer to make more efforts to handle procedures quickly.
