According to the GDVC, the sector has connected 215 of 237 online public services at levels 3 and 4, accounting for 91% of the total Customs procedures.
Up to 209 administrative procedures are connected at level 4 (accounting for 88%), which allow businesses to submit online dossiers and receive the results.
The GDVC has updated 26 online public services in the plan of 2021 based on the National Database of Administrative Procedures to prepare technical conditions and work with the Department of Administrative Procedures Control (Government Office) and Financial Informatics and Statistics Department (Ministry of Finance) to test and complete the integration of online public services to the National Public Service Portal.
The GDVC continues to promote the application of information technology to meet the requirements of customs management such as: developing the project on building national database on customs, and complete the explanation to report to the ministry for approval.
It builds an e-stamp management system for imported alcohol and tobacco; receives manifests via the e-Customs Portal; and supervises and ensures smooth operation of the VNACCS/VCIS and the centralized IT Customs system.
