21 enterprises participate in supporting and encouraging to comply at Bac Ninh Customs voluntarily

According to the leader of Bac Ninh Customs Department, to implement the pilot program, the unit has disseminated to the affiliated units to research to prepare for the implementation of the contents under Decision 1399/QD-TCHQ dated July 15th, 2022 on the pilot program on supporting and encouraging enterprise to comply with Customs Law voluntarily.
At the same time, the unit assigned customs officers to implement the pilot program on supporting and encouraging enterprises to voluntarily comply with the customs law of the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
The unit mainly manages import-export enterprises operating the types of export production and processing. In particular, export processing enterprises have headquarters located in industrial parks and industrial clusters in three provinces: Bac Ninh, Bac Giang, and Thai Nguyen.
Among more than 1,200 businesses operating regularly, the unit has selected 21 businesses that periodically carry out procedures in the area, including customs brokers, to participate in the pilot program at the request of the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
Through the recognition of the unit, businesses participating in the program wished that imported raw materials and exported products would be facilitated to settle customs procedures quickly.
Bac Ninh Customs Department is committed to fully implementing the steps under the direction and guidance of the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
The implementation of the pilot program at the Bac Ninh Customs Department will be done by the risk management team at the departmental and branch levels.
To effectively implement the pilot program, Bac Ninh Customs proposed that it was necessary to quantify information indicators and tasks for the department and branch to perform synchronously, as well as to have a reporting mechanism from the branch level to the department level and from the department level to the general department level.
