Two customs departments record import and export turnover worth US$ 100 billion

From January 1 to November 15, Bac Ninh Customs Department saw the highest import-export turnover of US$146.12 billion across the country, down 10.7% year-on-year; followed by HCM City Customs Department with US$110.57 billion, down 11.1%.
Other departments recorded large turnover, including Hai Phong Customs Department at US$92.67 billion, down 4.2%; Hanoi Customs Department at US$54.08 billion, down 8.4%; Binh Duong Customs Department at US$41.03 billion, down 12.9%; Dong Nai Customs Department at US$31.96 billion, down 15.7%; Ba Ria-Vung Tau Customs Department at US$18.51 billion, down 8.9%; Long An Customs Department at US$ 14.25 billion, down 6.2%.
Some customs departments achieved high import-export turnover compared to the same period last year such as: Ha Nam Ninh Customs Department at US$ 19.25 billion, up 11.9%; Quang Ninh Customs Department at US$13.62 billion, up 1.4%; Ha Tinh Customs Department at US$ 5.86 billion, up 20.1%; Binh Phuoc Customs Department at US$5.41 billion, up 21.3% and Lang Son Customs Department at US$ 4.61 billion, up 84.2%.
By the end of November, the trade in goods decreased by 8.2% to US$619.36 billion compared to the same period last year.
The export turnover dropped 5.8% to US$322.61 billion, and the import turnover declined 10.7% to US$296.75 billion.
By the end of November, the country had trade surplus of US$25.86 billion.
