Two arrested for carrying heroin and opium

VCN - The Drug Enforcement Team of the Dien Bien Customs Department has worked with other authorities to arrest two suspects carrying guns, knives, four packages of heroin and 0.5 kg of opium.

Heroin seized by the customs teams

The Dien Bien Customs Department said, “at 5:30 a.m on 15 December, at Cat village in Son La, the Drug Enforcement Team worked with Son La Police, the Son La Border Guard and Song Ma District Police to arrest Vang A Su, born in 1983 and living in Muong Cai commune, Son La, and Vang A Po, born in 1980 and living in the Muong Hung commune of the Song Ma district, Son La, for illegal transportation of narcotics.”

The evidence materials

At the scene, the officers seized four packages of pressed heroin, 0.5 kg of opium, one gun, two knives and two mobile phones.

The case is being further investigated.
