VCN –The Anti-Drugs Enforcement Team (under Ha Tinh Customs Department), Ha Tinh Police and Nghe An Police arrested a suspect transporting 12 packages of heroin.

Ha Tinh Customs arrests a suspect transporting 12 packages of heroin

The drugs is transported by the suspect.

On November 14, the working team detected Nguyen Hong Linh, 29, residing in Ky Anh District, Ha Tinh province, transporting 12 packages of heroin by motorbike from Huong Son District, Ha Tinh province to ship to HCM City for consumption.

At the competent agency’s office, Nguyen Hong Linh said that he was hired by a Taiwanese person to transport the drugs to HCM City worth VND100 million.

Tran Nguyen Hong Linh had two drug-related prior convictions and was released from prison in 2020. Recently, the suspect has appeared in Vinh city, Nghe An province, showing suspicious signs. Therefore, the Nghe An Provincial Police has made a special plan to handle the case.

The competent forces arrested the suspect and are investigating the case.
