General Department of Vietnam Customs requires units to thoroughly grasp all officials, officers and workers in the unit to seriously and fully implement the contents of Directive No. 06/CT-TTg. The General Department of Vietnam Customs recommended that units immediately implement key projects and work programs in 2024 issued in Decision No. 288/QD-TCHQ dated January 31, 2024 to ensure completion on schedule and quality. In particular, projects to develop legal documents that should follow correct order and procedures are an important legal basis for developing Digital Customs, Smart Customs model and administrative reform in customs field, improving the efficiency of state management of customs.

Furthermore, the unit drastically and completely resolves plans and tasks as proposed; the work contents must be resolutely implemented to the end, especially the directions of the Government, the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Finance and the agreed contents within the Party Standing Committee, leader of the General Department; carefully prepare the contents for the 7th Session of the 15th National Assembly. Units need to develop plans and implement drastically and synchronously the solutions stated in Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP, Resolution No. 02/NQ-CP and Action Plan of the Ministry of Finance. Strengthening administrative reform and customs modernization, facilitating trade and import-export activities, shortening time and cost of cargo clearance, contributing to macroeconomic growth.

Strengthening control and fight against smuggling activities and trade fraud, illegal transportation of goods across borders on all routes and key areas, focusing on banned items, valuable goods and high tax rates... to prevent, arrest and promptly handle violations.

Thoroughly cut expenses, especially regular expenses and expenses that are not urgent following Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP and Directive No. 01/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister.

In particular, General Department of Vietnam Customs required units to closely follow the plan on assigned estimates, required units to commit to disbursement, and removed obstacles during the implementation. In addition, focusing on drastic direction to speed up the implementation in units which are assigned large estimates; urging units to improve the rate and quality of disbursement.
