Quang Ninh Customs collects 1.45 trillion VND via seaports

The department made some 944 billion VND from petrol imports.
In 2019, Quang Ninh Customs Department has been tasked with collecting7 trillion VND for the State budget by the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Vietnam Customs assigned a target of 7.4 trillion VND, while the provincial department set its own target of 8.8 billion VND.
To hit these goals, Quang Ninh Customs plans to focus on three key revenue streams, namely collecting from petrol and oil, collecting via sea (excluding petrol) and collecting via land.
The unit is also focusing on reforming and simplifying administrative procedures to make customs procedures simpler, improve the quality of business care and facilitating trade activities through the locality.
In addition, Quang Ninh Customs has proposed solutions to the provincial People's Committee to enhance the seaport economy and border trade.
Quang Ninh Customs has also implemented the E-Tax and Customs Clearance 24/7 Scheme to achieve more than 97% of total revenue collected from electronic tax, also to prevent loss of revenue through prices, quantities, codes and origin of goods and strengthen the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods.
