Quang Ninh Customs achieved 70.72% of revenue collection

In the first six months of 2020, with the goal of completing revenue collection assigned by the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Vietnam Customs, the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, Quang Ninh Customs Department has implemented many solutions to improve source of revenue.
The unit held conferences of Customs - enterprises, dialogues with enterprises in the areas of roads and ports to attract new enterprises to bring goods to implement customs procedures, contributing to increasing revenues from groups of commodities besides petroleum.
Besides that, the units under the Quang Ninh Customs Department have also been proactive in accessing, supporting, accompanying and solving difficulties for import-export firms.
As a result, as of June 30, 239 new businesses went to the department for implementing customs procedures at Quang Ninh Customs, contributing VND 270.46 billion to State revenue.
Raising the total revenue collection of the whole department to VND 6,718.68 billion, reaching 70.72% of current appropriation of the Ministry of Finance, 63.99% of the target assigned by the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
Revenue collected from imported gasoline is VND 1,900.24 billion, accounting for 28.28%; revenue collected from seaport areas (except from petroleum) reached VND 4,180.66 billion, accounting for 62.22%; revenue from the road border area hit VND 633.24 billion, accounting for 9.43%; revenue collected from anti-smuggling and post-clearance audit amounted to VND 4.52 billion, accounting for 0.07%.
