Quang Binh Customs revenue’s increases by 47%

In the first half of the year, the volume of traditional items imported and exported across the area increases such as imported wood up 130%, imported tapioca starch up 200%, imported sugar up 55%, and exported rutile up 100%, exported limestone up 100%, imported ceramic tile production materials up 44%, exported clinker up 6%, and exported wood chips up 8%.
The revenue from imported machinery and equipment of investment projects reached VND64.02 billion. Of which, the revenue from Quang Trach I Thermal Power Project recorded VND 58.9 billion, accounting for 31.4% of the total revenue. This is the reason for a 47% increase in tax revenue year-on-year.
Quang Binh Customs Department has drastically implemented solutions to collect revenue and tax debts and prevent revenue loss.
In addition, the department has grasped operation status of enterprises to make revenue collection plans and allocate targets to branches; comprehensively and drastically implemented solutions to facilitate trade, improved the effectiveness of state management, and prevent revenue loss in the implementation of the 2023 revenue collection.
To complete the task, in the second half of 2023, the department continues to focus on reviewing activities in the area and business status of enterprises to estimate revenue; closely monitor and manage the revenue collection and payment, create new revenues.
Actively contact businesses to grasp business operations and support businesses; disseminate, support, provide information to customs declarants, promptly grasp and solve problems for enterprises related to customs procedures and tax policies; listen to feedback of the business, quickly carry out procedures to reduce time and cost for businesses.
