Prevention of Covid-19: Hai Phong Customs measures body temperature at customs branches

Organising to measure body temperatures at Hai Phong port area 3 Customs Branch.

Talking to reporters, leaders of the Finance and Logistics Division (Hai Phong Customs Department) said that the measurement of body temperature has been implemented at the Department before.

Recently, facing the development of the Covid-19 epidemic across the country and in Hai Phong, leaders of the Department decided to equip additional infrared thermometers for all nine customs branches.

At the Hai Phong port area 1 Customs Branch, Manager Truong Binh An said that, on the morning of March 9th, the unit organised to measure body temperature for officials, citizens and businesses coming to complete procedures.

“The body temperature measurement was assigned to the security guards to perform, when the number of people coming to do transaction increased, the unit assigned customs officials of General Affairs Team to support them. To ensure safety, officials and people coming to implement customs procedures must comply with the rule. The measurements of body temperature would be carried out regularly when people went in or out of the branch office. Besides that, the branch also asked people, businesses and customs officials to wear masks and use antiseptic gel to wash their hands,” Manager Truong Binh An said.

In addition, on March 10, the Branch will organize to guide the medical declaration in accordance with the general policy of the Government.

Furthermore, in talking with reporters, leaders of the remaining eight customs branches under Hai Phong Customs Department (Hai Phong port area 2 Customs Branch, Hai Phong port area 3 Customs Branch, Dinh Vu port Customs Branch, Export Processing Zone and Industrial Park Customs Branch, Hai Duong Customs Branch, Hung Yen Customs Branch, Thai Binh Customs Branch) said that they have strictly implemented the measurement of body temperatures and implemented prevention measures as prescribed. People and businesses coming to do procedures have cooperated with the Customs authority.
