Piloting the exchange of export declaration with Eurasian Economic Union

According to the General Department of Vietnam Customs - Standing agency of National Steering Committee on ASEAN Single Window, National Single Window and Trade Facilitation, by March 31, 2024, there were 250 administrative procedures of 13 ministries and branches connecting the National Single Window, with the participation of 69,895 businesses.

Regarding the ASEAN Single Window Mechanism, Vietnam continues to expand this mechanism and maintain official connections to exchange information of electronic certificate of origin form D (e-C/O form D) with all 9 ASEAN member countries;

Coordinating with the ASEAN Secretariat and ASEAN countries to officially exchange ASEAN customs declarations as planned;

Preparing relevant requirements to connect and test the exchange of plant quarantine certificates;

Discussing to build solutions and roadmaps to connect and exchange electronic documents between ASEAN and partners such as Japan, China, and Korea.

Regarding connecting with partners outside ASEAN, Vietnam has completed phase 1 of piloting the exchange of export customs declarations with the Eurasian Economic Union, and continues to coordinate to conduct phase 2.

Coordinate with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the New Zealand Embassy in Vietnam to deploy a pilot exchange of electronic quarantine certificates with New Zealand.
