Over 1,100 air conditioners inside 3 smuggled containers

As Custom News has reported, in the morning of 15^th June 2017, Saigon port area 1 Customs Branch collaborated with Anti-smuggling and Investigation Department – General Department of Customs, Customs Enforcement Unit – HCMC Customs Department, Border post of Nha Rong port to inspect 3 containers of import goods and detect all goods were used air conditioners.

On the dossier of imported consignment, the information showed the consignee is Nguyen Tan Import Export Commodity Logistics (located at 12A / 5 Dong Tan Quarter, Di An Ward, Di An Towns, Binh Duong province); Imported goods in 3 containers are MDF plywood.

After the consignment arrived at Cai Lai port, through the information collection, Saigon port area 1 Customs Branch detected signs of commercial fraud, so the Department issued the decision to inspect for prevention.
