Over 1 million declarations of imported and exported goods processed by Hai Phong Customs

The department processed 190,379 declarations in June, increasing by 33.85% year-on-year but slightly decreasing by 0.15% compared with the previous month, according to Hai Phong Customs Department.
The Investment/Processing Customs Branch processed 44,396 declarations.
1st Zone Hai Phong Sea Port Customs Branch processed 4,915 declarations.
The import and export turnover in June reached US$8.63 billion, soaring 55.9% year-on-year.
Of which, import turnover hit US$4.17 billion, up 30.2%; taxable export turnover reached US$22.01 million, up 89% compared with last year. Import turnover reached US$4.46 billion, taxable import turnover earned US$1.778 billion.
Import turnover of some items soared, such as auto at US$97.81 million, auto parts and components at US$71.76 million; motorbikes at US$0.77 million; motorcycle spare parts and accessories at US$2.29 million; petroleum products at US$75,73 million.
Thanks to the sharp increase in the import and export turnover, the department’s revenue hit VND6,071 billion.
In January-June, Hai Phong Customs Department collected VND32,974 billion, reaching 58.9% of the target assigned by the Ministry of Finance and 57% of that assigned by the General Department of Vietnam Customs.
As of end-June, Hai Phong Customs Department processed over 1 million declarations.
Of which, May reported the largest number of 190,666 declarations, and February saw the lowest number of 111,243 declarations.
