Officially merging Hong Linh Customs Branch into Xuan Hai port Customs Branch
Implementing the Decision No. No. 1854/QD-BTC of the Minister of Finance dated September 19, 2019 on the reorganization of Customs Branch under Ha Tinh Customs Department and Official Letter No. 6243/TCHQ-TCCB dated September 30,2019 of the General Department of Vietnam Customs on the implementation of the Decision on reorganizing the Customs Branch, Ha Tinh Customs Department carried out the procedures to merge Hong Linh Customs Branch into Xuan Hai port Customs Branch.

The head office of Xuan Hai port Customs Branch including: headquarters located at Xuan Hai commune, Nghi Xuan district, Ha Tinh province; head office 2 is located in Bac Hong ward, Hong Linh town, Ha Tinh province (former headquarters of Hong Linh Customs Branch).
The Xuan Hai port Customs Branch will perform the functions, tasks and juridiction as stipulated in Decision No. 4292/QD-TCHQ dated 12/12/2016 of the Director General of Vietnam Customs on defining the functions, tasks, juridiction and organisational structure of Customs Branch under provincial and municipal Customs Departments (including the functions and tasks relating geographical management areas under the management of Hong Linh Customs Department previously).
To help agencies and the business communitycontact and implement customs procedures as prescribed, Ha Tinh Customs Department has spread the announcement widely to facilitate and not to affect import and export activities of enterprises.
To ensure the operation of customs management for import and export goods of the enterprise managed by Hong Linh Customs Branch after the merger, Ha Tinh Customs Department proposed the General Department of Vietnam Customs instruct the transformation and handling the declarations, documents which were backlogged in the system when merging; guide the conversion of accounting data on the centralised accounting system when merging.
Hong Linh Customs Branch will become Head Office 2 of the Xuan Hai port Customs Branch from November 22, 2019.
