VCN – During Lunar New Year 2023, Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch handled customs procedures for 209 international flights with more than 54,000 passengers on entry.

According to Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch, to facilitate import and export activities during the Lunar New Year, the Branch has requested customs officers to strictly implement the direction of the Government, the Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Vietnam Customs in the implementation of procedures and regulations on aviation security, safety, and fire prevention.

At the same time, arrange for customs officers to perform duty 24/7 to handle customs procedures, ensuring smooth and quick procedures for import and export activities of enterprises and passengers before, during and after Tet.

Besides facilitating import and export activities, the unit also cooperates with competent forces to strengthen inspection, control and promptly detect and prevent acts of smuggling and illegal transportation of goods via flights.

It is known that in the state revenue collection, in the first month of the year (as of January 26), Noi Bai International Airport Customs Branch collected VND 415 billion, reaching 5.57% of the assigned target.
