On February 5, GDVC’s Director- General Nguyen Van Can signed Decision 266/QD-TCHQ appointing Mr. Le Duc Thanh, Deputy Director of Customs IT and Statistics Department as the director of the department.
At the ceremony, Deputy Director- General Nguyen Duong Thai highly appreciated Thanh’s efforts and contributions in his performance.
For the Customs sector, 2021 is considered as the starting year for a new phase and the whole sector is conducting an overall redesign of the information technology system. Therefore, Deputy Director General Nguyen Duong Thai asked Thanh and key leaders of the department to continue to promote their achievements over the past time, maintain solidarity and unanimity for the department’s leaders to fulfill their tasks, especially maintain and ensure the smooth operation of the Customs information technology system.
The new Director of Customs Department of Information Technology and Statistics Le Duc Thanh expressed his determination to continue with the department's leaders to successfully implement the assigned tasks, contributing to the overall achievements of the Customs sector in the coming time.
