Accordingly, there were 3 shipments containing over 3,000 dolls of P.A Import-Export Trade and Services Company Limited (District 8, Ho Chi Minh City). Through the inspection on quality as prescribed, the results showed that all of these imports were not eligible for standards and regulations as prescribed.

The Customs Branch at border gate of Sai Gon Port Zone 1 has sanctioned 15 million vnd and forced to re-export of all violation goods.

The last shipment included 4,800 rubik cubes imported by the PN Retailing Company Limited. (District 11, HCMC). However, when implementing the Customs procedures, the Customs authority discovered that the imported goods were not eligible for standards and quality regulations; the Customs authority há sanctioned 30 million vnd and forced the company to re-export the shipment.

According to the HCM City Customs Department, at the end of 2016, the imported toys and games for children increased sharply, the Customs Branches should control the anti-smuggling, trade fraud, and focus on quality inspection under the State’s specialized management in order to prevent the unqualified imported shipments
