Isolating 369 Korean passengers entering Vietnam via Van Don airport

VCN – All 369 passengers that arrived at Van Don international airport (Quang Ninh) on two flights that departed from Incheon (South Korea) on March 1st were isolated.

On the morning of March 2nd, Cam Pha port Customs Branch (Quang Ninh Customs Department) informed that the unit has implemented procedures for 369 passengers and 21 flight crew members of two flights that departed from Incheon (South Korea) to Vietnam via Van Don Airport on the evening of March 1st.

Among those passengers, there were 355 Vietnamese people and 14 foreigners(including 10 Korean people, one Canadian, one Japanese person and two people that have two nationalities of Korean and Vietnamese).

Accroding to Cam Pha port Customs Branch, after the plane landed, all passengers and flight crew were taken to the immigration procedure area by a bus of Van Don International Airport.

There, the Customs force in charge of that shift coordinated with competent forces to control passengers’ luggage following to ensure the prevention of Covid-19.

All registered luggage of passengers after sterilising by International Medical Centre was inspected by scanning machine by Customs officials. As a result, there was no arising case that had to be declared.

After completing the procedures, all the passengers was taken to Bao Minh Radiant Hotel in Ha Long City; Nam Khe military school (Uong Bi City); Regiment 42 of Tien Yen district and Thai Binh province by passenger car of the Department of Transport of Quang Ninh for isolation.
