Hon Gai Customs ensures smooth customs clearance

Customs operation at Hon Gai Seaport Customs Branch before April 1. |
Specifically, from April 1 to 7, the Hon Gai Seaport Customs Branch (Quang Ninh Customs Department) processed procedures for 224 import and export declarations, decreasing by 20% from the previous week and by 18% compared to the first week of March.
Import-export goods turnover reached USD 50 million, up 50% compared to the previous week (USD 33.35 million).
The State budget revenue reached VND 34.23 billion, decreasing by 48% compared to the first week of March (VND 66.5 billion) but increasing by 368% compared to the previous week.
Thus, the reasonable arrangement and assignment of personnel at Hon Gai Seaport Customs Branch in the first week of social distancing (according to Directive No. 16/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister) have ensured the normal operation of import –export activities without delay in customs clearance and other support for businesses.
In addition, all the Branch’s officials and employees participated in sending messages to contribute to the program "All people support the prevention of Covid-19" with a total amount of VND 14.5 million.
At the same time, raising the sense and responsibility of each individual to the community, appreciating the efforts of the Vietnamese Government and the entire people in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
